Creating a backup

If you lose your device or if it breaks, you don't want to lose all the files on that device as well. To make sure you can access your holiday photos, contacts, and WhatsApp conversations anytime, anywhere, you can choose to upload the data on your device to the cloud. Here we explain how to make a back-up with an Android device.

Restoring backup to your device

Do you want to restore your backup after you restored your phone to the factory settings? Then turn on your phone and follow the steps to activate it. Choose a manual setup and enter your Google account. If you have two-step verification enabled, you still need to enter the correct code. Once you have logged in, you can choose from which phone you want to restore all data and which data you want to install or not. All saved data will now be placed on your device.
